Generalities

The Harbour Authorities (HA) have been given the mandate of properly managing the harbour property under their responsibility. This mandate deals with the day-to-day management of port operations, as well as the maintenance of the facilities, the execution of minor work and the collection of user fees from all users.

Available services

The services provided cover the allocation of dockside space and the issuance of occupation permits required for property use as well as water use management and power management services, etc.

Partners

In addition to all that was previously reviewed, HA managers have the responsibility of representing with the Directorate, Small Craft Harbours (SCH) users' interests respecting the needs of harbour services. For the SCH, the HA are the preferred stakeholders to discuss priorities regarding which intervention should be undertaken in the harbour under their management.
