From here, you can sail into most Quebec's fishing harbours which are managed locally in partnership with the Harbour Authorities under the federal jurisdiction of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans.
In addition to visiting the various ports, you will also learn a lot about the key role played by Harbour Authorities staffed by a network of volunteers who manage the commercial fishing harbours.

This place is located between Percé in the East and Grande Rivi?re in the West. The harbour is managed by a Harbour Authority. Seventy per cent of the landings are made up of snow crab; the remaining catches are mainly spread between halibut and lobster. This harbour is of crucial importance for the economy of the municipality as well as for its surroundings. There are more than 55 fishing vessels that operate here and two fish processing plants.
