As the hub of tourism activities in the city of Percé, the wharf is used as a launching pad by thousands of tourists who travel to ?le Bonaventure, or simply tour the island to watch the large colonies of Northern Gannet birds. The wharf is also used as a backdrop for the activities of about ten lobster fishermen that visitors enjoy watching during the lobster harvesting season. Listed on the Register of Historic Places, Percé is well worth the trip.
